Thai Peanut Chicken (slow cooker)
Very Good 4.2/5
(5 ratings)

The chicken comes out mosit with an amazing Thai peanut taste. The penauts and peanut butter are perfectly complimented with the cool flavorings of the salsa, soy sauce, and lime juice. This is perfect for a day when you do not have a lot of time to prep but want a delicious, savory dinner.

This homemade alternative to store-bought granola bars, is a good source of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Tasty and so simple to make! A quarter cup of raisins (not included here) also make a yummy addition!

Amber's Garbanzo Chickpea Extravaganza
Very Good 4.5/5
(49 ratings)

I actually got the basics of this recipe when I went to a tops meeting with my mother in law! Get em crispy enough and they are soo tasty! Like eating chips or popcorn but without most of the guilt because they are so jam packed with protein and only have under 200 calories a serving. It feeds four as an appetizer but I'm not gonna lie, I've sat down and had em for lunch and ate an entire batch! They even have a good amont of fiber so enjoy!

I don't usually keep flaxseed around, but I put in wheat germ instead. I added more (dark) cocoa powder for a more chocolaty taste. I also added some cinnamon for a little taste, and almond extract. These are extremely good and nutritious.
Adding to my protein really makes a difference in lowering my appetite, so I am trying to find new ways to add more protein to my diet.
I also did the remake mostly for an easier access to my food tracker. I was wasting too much time always searching for it. Thanks for the original recipe!
