This comes from the 1971 Betty Crocker Cookbook and is the best pumpkin bread recipe I have found. It makes great mini-loafs for holiday gifts.

Delightful Apple cake for any occasion, brunch, bbq, party, not to sweet but yet sweet enough to cure to "I want something sweet" craving. Substitutions can be made to in the recipe with eggs, nuts, etc...
