Cookbook creator says: I have only made this with the sweetened strawberries -- probably using unsweetened frozen strawberries and perhaps some stevia or other lo-cal sweetener would be better -- you may need to add additional liquid.

This contains olives rather than olive oil to fit in with Orthodox Lenten food. It gives the hummus an interesting speckled effect. This recipe needs a food processor.
