A store near my daughter's house in California has peanut butter granola in the bulk food section. But I couldn't find it anywhere near my house in Illinois, so I found this recipe online and made my own. Now I'm glad I couldn't find it at the store. It's cheaper and I can control the ingredients that are used. Submitted by SRWOODSY Carbs: 46.3g | Fat: 17.4g | Fiber: 4g | Protein: 10.1g | Calories: 360.9

I eat breakfast on the run almost every day, and McDonald's Egg McMuffin value meal was a common breakfast choice. Then I discovered I could make my own sandwich at home in the time it would take me to go through the drive-thru, and I could make it much healthier (and I think tastier, too!). I have even made this sandwich at work to eat at my desk by just cooking the egg and warming the ham in the microwave. I pair it with a serving of fruit, and my day is off to a great start! Original recipe calls for regular breakfast sausage, such as Jimmy Dean. But I found this substitute to taste just as good and much less fat and healthier. A great grab and go breakfast. Make ahead and wrap individually in the refridge, micro for 30 seconds on high and go!! Submitted by PUSHWAIT Carbs: 5g | Fat: 14g | Fiber: 0.3g | Protein: 32g | Calories: 277.4
