Large enough for two people (120 calories each)- or a filling "meal" for one... My family loves these. A great way to get your protein, dairy and fruit in one serving-- very filling! Even a friend who doesn't like cottage cheese loves this!

During the week, my morning time is very limited and I used to skip breakfast. After refocusing to ensure I ate something filling, healthy and quick EVERY morning, I started to make these. Usually, I make two at a time, one for my wife as well and we will drink it before heading out to our work outs.

My hubby isn't a breakfast guy, but he will gladly consume a smoothie every morning. The secret is the frozen banana! Otherwise, I mix it up every day and simply follow the basic formula of one cup fresh fruit + 1/2 c. frozen fruit and 1/2 frozen banana + 1/2 c. liquid. The liquid can be fruit juice or milk or even yogurt. When that bunch of bananas on your counter is starting to look sad, peel 'em, break in half and stick in the freezer so the secret ingredient is always on hand!
