With the strong flavor of orange and strawberries, combined with creamy banana and a surprisingly smooth taste from spinach, you get at least 2.5 servings of fruit & veggies! Pretty awesome..

During the week, my morning time is very limited and I used to skip breakfast. After refocusing to ensure I ate something filling, healthy and quick EVERY morning, I started to make these. Usually, I make two at a time, one for my wife as well and we will drink it before heading out to our work outs.

Joyce's veg and fruit smoothie

My smoothie recipe 16 oz Vegetable smoothie
1/4 c med carrots
1/8 c celery
1/4 c of sweet potatoes raw or cooked
1/8 c of fresh beets (beets can be toxic, so use sparingly)
4 or 5 oz of almond milk (I use the 40 cal unsweeten vanilla)
2 tbsp of plain fat free Greek yogurt (I use Fage yogurt w/ 130 cal 0 fat,9 carbs per cup)
2 cups of fresh kale and spinach together (I freeze it together)
of a medium pear
4 stevia packets ( I use Pure Via)
tsp of Flax seed oil
4 ice cubes
If it is a little thick, just add a little water.

This smoothie is barely sweet at all, but if you like the taste of green smoothies you'll love this! **note** to make a carrot cube, juice some fresh carrots and then freeze the juice in ice cube trays. Once frozen, pop them out and keep them in zip-bags. You can toss 1 or 2 into any smoothie and you can't taste it!
