This is my mixed berry smoothie that I make with Chia seeds. It can be made with any fruit or any juice combination. Just use UNsweetened juice and fruit. Let their natural sweetness show themselves.

This super-delicious chickpea spread is perfect as a dip for veggies; spread on whole wheat/whole grain toast or bagel and with thin cucumber slices; spread a thin layer on a wrap, add a light sprinkling of feta cheese, then add romaine, thin cucumber strips and three coarsely chopped kalamata olives - roll and enjoy!

Cookbook creator says: Sear meat in iron skillet, let juices boil down, de=glaze skillet with wine, add to meat, then cook mushrooms in hot skillet, add 1/2 cup additional wine to mushrooms ... then add to skillet.
