Cookbook creator says: These were delicious! Because I had it on hand, I replaced the celery with diced orange bell pepper and it added great flavor. I fried them in olive oil flavored Pam to cut some calories. I will definitely make these again and again.

Cookbook creator says: Not into the ketchup thing, I covered mine with whorchester sauce, garlic and parmesean cheese. Also mixed fresh thyme and parsley with 2x the cornflakes into the meat. Tasted great but a little dry. Will put the sauce into the meat next time and probably add another egg. Mights try browning 1st

Cookbook creator says: I substituted lean ground turkey & threw everything in my big crock pot to stew all day. Kids & all loved it; I added shredded cheddar to theirs. Very simple & great way to get all those beans in there! I will likely double the green beans & add some corn next time. I did not use the syrup.
