This homemade alternative to store-bought granola bars, is a good source of protein, fiber and healthy fats. Tasty and so simple to make! A quarter cup of raisins (not included here) also make a yummy addition!

Makes 2- 9x5 loaves. Crunchy topping : 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cp flour, 1 tbsp butter, and 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts.Mix and crumble on top of batter before baking. Yummy buts adds unnecessary calories.

This recipe started from one I found in a free grocery store recipe flyer for BBQ mussels and clams - but it made FAR too much to just use it for one 'clambake' I added bunches of veggies and made a big pot of soup that will do me for the week - even after scooped 4 cups to use for my mussels.

This is actually a combination recipe. Part Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle, part lighter Italian Wedding Soup, part I like to put ravioli in anything I can! I'm going to make it for dinner tonight.
