A healthier muffin. You can make cream cheese frosting for these with half a package of 1/3 fat or fat free cream cheese and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.

If you don't use stevia (Truvia), you can sub about 1/3 cup brown sugar in the muffins, but don't forget to add the extra calories.

This is a my variation of Jamie Eason's chocolate protein bars. I like to bake them in muffin tins to make them easier to grab and go and I prefer to eat as grain free as possible unless I'm eating sprouted grains. I bake these about once a week and store them in the refrigerator, they do the trick if I need something a little sweet (you're not eating a brownie here folks, but close enough)
