This is a cake-type cobbler. You can use any fruit, fresh or frozen. My favorites are peaches, berries, and-- on the rare occasions when I can find them-- sour cherries.

These muffins are quite moist, sweet and delicious.
My muffin cups are quite large. If you could make 12 muffins out of this batter (smaller cups), it would be about 125 calories/muffin.
