I LOVE chicken & dumplings so when I found this I added my own spin to it and lowered the fat and calories. This is the best chicken and dumplings I've ever had which is amazing since I'm never satisfied with my cooking! You can have a full cup of this hearty comfort food for only 284 calories and 3.8 grams of fat! The sodium could be reduced if homemade biscuits are used instead of the canned biscuits, but if sodium isn't a problem this is a very fast and easy way to make chicken & dumplings!

An easy way to have a healthy dinner waiting when you arrive home. I served it with steamed red potatoes and aspargus and no one missed the Hollandaise! This makes a zesty flavorful meat for sandwiches and salads. Marinade could also be used for grilled chicken breast, fish or seafood, but marinate for only 1-2 hours.

This recipe couldn't be faster to prepare if you tried! It tastes phenomenal and is ready minutes after you walk in the door. Feel free to throw in extra spices here or there for your own taste buds but it is excellent as is as well! This is my regular pasta salad with 6 ounces of pepperoni and romano cheese. Pepperoni adds mostly fat, salt, and a little protein, so feel free to leave it out. I think it adds something extra to the flavor as long as it's consumed in moderation.

These come out very moist. I found this on the back of a grocery store ad and made a few changes. The original called for 2 tsp of Thyme, 1/4 c of Parmesan, & 2 c of cornflakes. I measured after I dipped and found I had a good 1/2 c of mixture left so I cut the recipe back accordingly.

* For those of you that are salt restricted- You might want to leave out the salt as there's probably enough in the Parmesan cheese. I just sprinkled a little salt over the bowl.

I also extended the cooking time. The original time was 20 mins.
