If you are cooking for someone on a low sodium diet, use this recipe instead of taco seasoning. This recipe is the equivelant to one package of taco seasoning (or 3 tablespoons.) Adjust the strength of any ingredient to your taste. Submitted by APRILDAWN678 Carbs: 2.1g | Fat: 0.4g | Fiber: 0.8g | Protein: 0.4g | Calories: 11

Similar concept to another recipe of mine, and other popular recipes on this site, but this recipe uses low sodium ingredients, and is still very tasty! I freeze leftovers in small microwaveable containers, and place them back in the refridgerator the day before I want to reheat them. Makes 14-ish cookies, sized about 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter each (I don't follow instructions too well - there's just NOT a teaspoon-sized cookie in my repertoire!) Submitted by BIGGIRL2082010 Carbs: 18.3g | Fat: 9.6g | Fiber: 1.5g | Protein: 4.9g | Calories: 169.2

SO sorry to those of you who have viewed this recipe...I didn't know I "shared" it! This was originally the filling for a frozen pie but had a monstorous amount of fat. I decided to make into mini muffin size servings. It's a hit. Still not GREAT for you or a health food but any stretch of the imagination but a great indulgence once or twice a year. I'd love to try this sometime with low fat Cool Whip and see how it stacks up. If you want to live dangerously, pour the entire amount of filling into a chocolate graham cracker crust and freeze. I am a huge fan of Peanut Butter, but one primary concern that most nutritionists have thrown at me is that you want to try to maintain a 10% or lower (if possible) of saturated fats in your foods so I decided it would be easier to just make my own.
