Lori's vegetarian and her family's not so vegetarian cookbook!

I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian because I love animals, don't enjoy the taste of meat and I have gout. The hubster is a carnavore and the kids are old enough to make up their own minds. Our meals have alot of variety so that everyone can eat what they choose!

Tastes great and is low in calories.
It is a really good healthy quiche recipe. Instead of pastry as the crust you use the brown rice. It turns out really good and tastes fantastic! The whole family enjoyed it, if fact hubby had 3 pieces.

This is a great sauce to add with chicken, polish sausage, meatballs.. Just add veggies and serve over rice. Tastes sinful, but it's not that bad!

My family loves fried chicken, so when I saw something similar done on Biggest Loser, I had to try it. It's a great alternative to "fried" chicken.

It was cold and snowy today so I needed soup. This is an old favorite and I decided the calories were worth it. But it's not that bad as long as you limit your serving size! I added millet for fiber
