Simple Syrup Refreshing Fruit Salad
1 Cup Sugar & 1 Cup Water- in a bowl, dissolve sugar in water until the sugar is completely dissolved, and is a light syrup. Set aside.
In another bowl or cup –add 2 T chopped Mint to ½ Cup Of boiling water- making a Mint Tea Infusion.
In a saucepan: Add the light syrup to ¼ Cup of TEQUILA boil for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
You may omit TEQUILA & substitute 2 T of CREAM DE Mint.
Strain mint tea in cheese cloth or sieve then add to TEQUILA Simple Syrup to the Infusion.
Ratio of Fruit:
2 Cups Watermelon
2 Cups Cantaloupe
2 Cups Strawberries, sliced
2 Cups Blueberries
1 Cup of Grapes, halved
¼ Cup Mango
2 Cups Honeydew
Add TEQUILA Simple Sugar Infusion to the fruit and marinade overnight.
If making the fruit salad Tropical with pineapple skip the chopped mint.
