Mix Fruit Smoothies
I love this recipe. I added spinach because I'm not much of a salad eater and it's a sneaky little way to get an extra serving of my veggies for the day. Believe it or not... you can't taste the spinach or even tell it's in there. I make a large batch all at once and save some in the fridge. Carol's Slow Cooker BBQ Beef (crockpot, barbeque, slowcooker, crock pot)
The meat does not need to be seared in skillet first to make this fall-apart tender, pulled BBQ beef for sandwiches. This recipe has so much flavor no one will notice the Worcestshire sauce & the salt were deleted to reduce sodium (you may also use low-sodium catsup and BBQ to reduce sodium further). Using molasses instead of brown sugar and Worcestshire gives a depth of flavor and authenticity, while reducing sugar & sodium. It is great to take to picnics, buffets, or tailgating. Freezes well. Brown Rice Nut Salad
I work in a restaurant, and this is my favorite salad! Wanted to put it in here for others to try and love as much as I do. There is a decent amount of prep work involved, but it seriously creates so much salad! I like to toast up some multigrain flatbread, layer some hummus, some of the rice nut salad, and sprinkle some feta cheese on top if I have it. Super delicious, super filing, and so good for you! Makes six large servings, if using with hummus and/or flatbread. By itself, maybe 4 large servings, about 332 calories each (mostly from the walnuts too). Submitted by: LAWISE

Super Tropical Smoothie
Great smoothie for breakfast or a snack. Each serving of smoothie gives you about 4 servings of fruit. Great substitute for the smoothies you can get at fast food places that are filled with sugar and fat. I buy the fruit in the summer when it's less expensive, cube it, and freeze it to have during the winter months.
