Herb and Onion Wheat Biscuits
The onion is puréed so that its flavor carries throughout the biscuits. You can make and freeze the biscuits up to a week ahead. When ready to serve, thaw, wrap in foil, and heat in a 325º oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Grilled Corn on the Cob
I'm taking a 4th of July menu from Allrecipes and trying to lighten it up. The original of this recipe had 179 calories and almost 13 g. of fat per serving.

Jalapeno & Potato Soup
I first thought this a strange combination when I saw this on the menu on an Alaskan Cruise. The head waiter told me to try it; that I wouldn't be dissapointed. True enough, it was amazing! The cruise ship didn't have the recipe in their cookbook, but I found a similar one easily enough online. This is now one of my family's favorites. Submitted by: JEEP_GIRL

Cobb Salad for One- Unchained Recipe Contest
When I think of dinner out, I think of T.G.I. Fridays Cobb Salad. Even though it is full of healthy vegetables it is one of the most unhealthy salads on the menu becuase of it's fattening ingredients. I have created a lighter version that tastes just as great without the guilt!Submitted by: THEAQUAPANDA

Crunchy Spiced Chicken (Un-Chained Recipe Contest)
Fast food fried chicken is chock-full of cholesterol and fat but I love the crunchy coating so this oven-baked version of KFC's menu is my go-to recipe when I'm needing a fast food fix. Submitted by: TRAEVYNN

Grilled Summer Vegetable Lasagna
This recipe has a number of components, but all can be made ahead, particularly the tomato puree and the white sauce. You can substitute 3 (8-ounce) cans of tomato puree for the homemade tomato puree. You can also use a grill pan to prepare the vegetables indoors.

Make-Ahead Turkey Breast With Herb Stuffing
This turkey dinner is the ultimate make-ahead meal. The turkey, gravy, and stuffing are slow-cooked simultaneously to impart rich, deep flavors and to eliminate any extensive last-minute work.

MrldCtyGrl Peanut Butter Curried Chicken Dinner
A couple of people have had problems reproducing this, so here's my disclaimer... we love it, I invented it, it's been served to pro chefs and folks from India, and they've all liked it. However, the reviews are not all positive, and maybe there's something off about the preparation. I don't know. But please, if you MUST review, be gentle. I've got them shared so my family can add their portions to their menus. Everyone else's opinion is totally optional.
