Mock French Toast - South Beach Friendly (Phase One)
This has the taast of french toast. Goal is to yield 8 crepes, but that seems pretty tricky and time consuming to accomplish without correct tools (skills?).
I aim for 2-4 pancakes. Pretty tasty and filling. Still need your veggies though.Submitted by: THESPY75

Gluten Free Lasagna
This is an altered recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook. It uses ready-to-bake/no-boil gluten free rice noodle in the place of normal lasagna noodles and it tastes GREAT! We also recommend the sauce used in this recipe to ensure that it remains gluten-free. The use of weight-watchers cheese, 98% fat free ground beef, and egg beaters lowers the fat and calories considerably.Submitted by: BEATLEBANDAIDE

Creamy, somewhat spicy, wonderfully thick cauliflower soup, enhanced with just enough ricotta to make it delicious. The sodium reading in the nutritional content is absurdly high and likely wrong. It will depend on what broth you use. Submitted by: MEGABOMB

Ferber's Eggplant Lagana
This is a lasagna made with Eggplant, instead of traditional pasta noodles. This is really a great tasting dish. This has been confirmed by the kids who will eat it, without knowing they are eating eggplant. I was once told that if the kids eat it, it must be pretty good. I hope you try it.Submitted by: GFERBER

Jamie's Awesome Italian Chicken Sausage Lasagna
In my version of lasagna I've substituted Chicken sausage, which is lower in fat and calories, for the Italian sausage. Really yummy! I buy this sausage at Sam's club. You may also be able to find at your local butcher/meat dept.
You can cook the sauce as long as you like to distribute the seasonings and flavor. But my family usually can't wait for me to cook it down all day, so my version has less water and cooks up fast! If you choose to cook your sauce longer, you may need to add additional water.
The original recipe for this was about 478 calories!! I just let you have desert!Submitted by: JAMIELYNN125
