Marinate veggies using Tomato Garlic & Basil Grill Mates mix
I can't believe I've been making this since 1984, but it's that good. It's easy to alter, adding or subtracting serving sizes - I make huge batches, but this is a single serving. It is also incredibly easy to make. The hardest part is seeding and peeling the tomatoes.
If you don't like vinegar, you won't like this. When we make Italian dressing from the Good Seasons packets, we reverse the oil and vinegar amounts. Simple, right? You could probably cook with this too. If you like vinegar.

I cook the huge value packs of chicken in the slow cooker, shred it and freeze it at around a lb. a package. Makes life SO much easier.

Recipes that utilize shredded chicken. I precook chicken in bulk and shred it. I store it in the freezer in cup servings and take it out as I need it. It works great. Now I'm trying to alter my favorite recipes to be diabetic friendly.
