Tastes just like the pie Mom used to make, but easier and not as many calories. This makes a filling dessert.
A reduced calorie version of my mom's sour cream dressing. Only 20 calories a tablespoon.
Mom's delicious sour cream dressing. At 47 calories a tablespoon it's a bit of indulgence, but not too bad. And don't skip the anchovy paste. I hate anchovies but the flavor is extremely subtle and absolutely essential.
Crumble a graham cracker and cut up half a golden kiwi (or other fruit). Top with 1/4 c. of pudding.
Makes 2 loaves. This is not labor intensive but it takes a lot of time. I make small rolls and freeze them. I can pull them out to thaw individually and reheat to crisp them up. I use currents, but raisins work well too. You can also add caraway seeds instead.
