Easy low fat, low cal recipe that is full of flavor! Goes great with green beans or asparagus.
If you can't find pastina in the pasta aisle, look in the baby food aisle. Or you can use couscous, rice or other small pasta - but adjust coking time as needed. You could just precook it & then add to the mushroom broth and let sit for a few minutes so the moisture absorbs/evaporates a bit.
These are soft, almost like fudge (which is what makes them delicious). But if you want them a little more cake-like, try increasing the temp a little bit or increasing the time a little bit or decreasing the oil a little bit.
You can also cut down the chocolate chips to cut calories as needed.
Fluffy and light - and under 100 calories per serving! Serve with apple slices or graham crackers. It is a great appetizer at parties or just as a snack. Some recipes are similar, but use pudding mix. So this one saves a couple calories.
Can easily swap ingredients and try apples, strawberries or other fruit or cut the nutella to save 100 calories.
Each smoothie provides 3 servings of fruit, and the tofu and wheat germ provide an extra boost of protein, fiber and calcium.
