I was introduced to this recipe (a fatter version) via Wolfgang Puck...it had bacon in it among other fatening meats...I changed it up to a healthier version. This is very flexible and you can add, omit, or generally just make it your own!
This is a really great soup meal for those cold days. Very filling. Low in fat.
Great for lunches so you have all day to burn off the carbs! :)
I made this because I was out of food and needed to use what I had in my pantry. Turned out really good! BUT, I didn't pay enough attention to times and measurements, so you may need to tweak the amount of liquid used and the total cooking time.
