A war time cake that didn't use your rationed eggs or butter. Tastes like a spice cake. A favourite of anyone who tastes it!!
This is a less thick version of soup. I use the leftover water from cooking a cottage roll for flavour.
This is the recipe I use for my breadmaker. It is a heavy bread but the addition of nuts/seeds is wonderful. Slice thinly.
This freezes extremely well and can be used for a finger food or a take along snack
