While not "traditional" this recipe courtesy of pterra2008 on Tasty Kitchen has just enough New England "flair".
any combination of beans adding up to 4.5 cups works fine here. We sometimes add chopped apple as well for a real fall flavor.
This is as close to perfection as we get here on earth. I make this frequently and it's always a hit. Serve over brown rice or steamed green beans.
With veggies, lots of protein and good carbs, this is one to get you going!
This comes from a Quaker Oatmeal container from maybe 30 or 35 years ago? They make a fabulous pick up breakfast.
