Quinoa pancakes-very savory

Cook the quinoa until there is no water left.
Stir in the chopped veggies. Add jalapeņos, if you want.
Stir in everything else except the oil.
Coat pan with oil.
Drop by spoonfuls in the pan and cook on medium heat on each side 5 minutes or until browned.
Makes 25 cakes.

Emily's Split Pea Soup

Combine ingredients.
Bring to a boil and cook on medium low for a couple of hours. (I like to start it cooking on my lunch break and leave it on the stove on barely simmering with lots of water to be ready when I get home from work.)
