I love to make foods that are a fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican. This low fat dip fits the bill, but all you need to do is change the seasonings to customize it.
Serve with cornbread for a real treat!
I don't take credit for this recipe. I found it here: http://www.vocalvegan.com/2011
I just put it in the recipe calculator because I eat this often and wanted to be able to track it.
This is not my recipe. I made a few alterations to the one here (http://wholenewmom.com/recipe
ts-easy-chicken-recipe/) and plugged it in so I could track it.
Surprisingly lean for smothered fried pork chops--Also delicious and simple. Based it off of this recipe: http://www.seriouseats.com/rec
Great way to jazz up leftover grilled chicken and leftover pasta in flavored olive oil. I altered this recipe from Campbell's Kitchen: http://www.campbellskitchen.co
I missed having cheesy pasta dishes for dinner, so I modified one of my aunt's recipes to contain less fat and subbed in 6 oz. whole grain pasta for 16 oz. white pasta. This is refreshing and summery.
First, it's not really ice cream. But it is good and satisfied my craving for the real thing, and only has about 105 calories in the entire recipe.
A creamy version of my Dad's green chile, but still not fattening. This goes well on roasted potatoes, burritos, etc., and can easily be made into a healthy stew for a full meal.
Makes 4 generous margaritas (200 cal./each), or 6 smaller ones (pictured, 133 cal./each).
Simply seasoned broccoli.
I adjusted my mom's recipe to be healthier, because I just can't stand ground turkey. I came up with this and always get rave reviews!
This is my alternative to fried potatoes.
Sweet and salty deliciousness!
