Recipes I've Shared:
A one pot lentil dish to be eaten over rice that is simpler to make than Kushiri, but is inspired by it.
When we lived in Djibouti, this was a common inexpensive food at local outdoor restaurants where workers ate. Abdillahi was the owner/chef of the restaurant where we often ate these. In Djibouti they were called, 'haricots'.
I like making Chili and I vary the recipe every time. My wife likes to eat it over rice and add a little yogurt and cheese on top.
Just a simple mixture of Chicken and whatever vegetables you happen to have on hand with some lentils thrown in for texture and a little extra.
