Heat up a serving of quaker instant oatmeal, water (or milk if you don't mind the extra calories) and 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. After heating, add whatever you want... maybe a banana, some chocolate chips, some sweetener, cinnamon, strawberries.. whatever you're in the mood for and can afford calorie-wise :)
The oatmeal and cocoa alone are very tasty, and only about 170 calories!

|Healthy Eating for Busy Bodies on a Budget
With food prices skyrocketing, it is much more affordable to eat at home. Unfortunately, a lot of us are working harder to counteract these financial setbacks, and its hard finding time to cook healthy meals! I hope to gather a few ideas for preparing quick and healthy meals on a budget.
