Best Chinese I've ever made. Sort of "kung-pao". A bit spicy. Hoisin Sauce is the key!
Ok, I reduced the Olive Oil form 4 T. to 2 T. It just seemed unnecessary.
* I subbed 1 c. fat-free half and half for the Light Cream in the original. Yes, it does add some carbs, but I just can't consume that much fat & calories. Sorry Dr. B! Still love you.
It's an omelet you can eat with your fingers. Freeze a batch & microwave as needed for a quick low-carb breakfast.
Not the skinniest dessert -- but low carb. You can sub 2 c. low-fat whipped topping for the heavy cream if you are more concerned about fat than carbs.
Okay, it's actually roasted pureed Garlic-Cauliflower. It has a hummus-like taste & texture with HALF the calories, fat AND carbs. Also makes a YUMMY side dish in place of mashed potatoes.
Mild Oriental flavor in a nutritious soup! (Not or those with strict sodium issues, though.)
Admittedly, it is not super low in fat or calories, but neither is it skimpy on size. The winning combo of crab & Swiss cheese will have non-dieters fighting you for it.
Simple as can be and yummy! More fun than the carrot & celery tray, and way healthier than the cheese tray.
