Potato pattis

8 medium sized potatoes,
boiled and mashed,
salt 1 tsp,
red chilli powder 1 tsp,
chopped coriander leaves a handful,
oil for cooking 6 tablespoons

hot tomato soup

tomato 3, carrot 2 and onion 1.finely chopped.
Place a pan on the stove, pour 2 spoons of oil, fry onion till light brown, add carrot cook for 3-4 minutes, then add tomatoes and cover the lid . cook for 5-7 minutes till the vegetables are cooked. Then blend in a mixie, add little water and 1 tsp salt, bring to boil.
Serve hot with pepper powder and croutons.

chutney

add a few pieces of grated coconut, 1 green chill, coriander leaves, a small piece of ginger and fried channa daal and salt to taste. blend into a smooth paste and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves
