p90x2 recipe, tastes great!!
we like this granola plain or on frozen yogurt, pudding, yogurt hmmm...almost everything. we also pour vanilla almond milk on it for a cold cereal. i also like to put a tablespoon on top of my muffins. and the best part your house will smell great!!
i like to make this into a soup as well and just chop all the ingredients leave out the eggs add a 3-15oz cans of chicken broth 2 more can stewed maters or diced tomatoes and 12 oz of favorite spaghetti sauce, then cook till desired tenderness. can cut calories in this by omittin eggs and changing beef to turkey
you could replace the yogurt with the kind made with splenda to reduce sugar and calories even futher. or go full fat to plump it up.
may like to add 1# of chicken breast cooked and cut up into 1/2 in pieces. also i didn't have any reduced sodium chicken broth so the sodium is high.
removed some of the butter and all eggs. replaced with applesauce and bananas. took out a 1/4 cup of sugar as well! next time going to dble the batch and pour onto a cookie sheet and cut into 48 pieces freezing half of them. i love frozen treats and the kiddos never think to look in the freezer for cookies, brownies and muffins =)
i make so one can decide on how many graham cracker or pie filling they make want to add or fresh fruit.
not sure why these chops from walmart have less calories per serving than all the others the only thing i can figure is water and salt weight
My daughter brought this recipe home from school. it says it make 8 1 cup servings for 100 calories. simple soups from the U of I Extension office. Had to adjust cabbage and carrots to get the calories up to 100. Dbl original amount of cabbage and carrots and onion.
Makes 16 small sandwiches, perfect for a pot luck or quick lunch. Make in a slow cooker night before and put in fridge to let the seasonings blend. for dinners i like to add potatoes or carrots to the pot and chunks of onion, add extra water for this
my kids wanted cinnamon rolls, so i created this from pancakes. more like a pancake sandwich. it was just sweet enough that even my pickest eater (with the biggest sweet tooth) said yum. and not messy big plus!
i like to precook chicken, bake potatoes and hard boiled eggs. this way when i need lunch in a pinch it's ready to go.
good for anytime, especially when you want a snack. it delivers a large portion size of food and helps you use the broccoli stalk! goes great with a side of eggs or chicken.
quick meal idea
great finger food for toddlers, easy for all ages to prepare
