This is a homemade hamburger recipe with a lot of flavor. Perfect for eating plain, or putting on a bun and dressing any way you like. The ground turkey brings down the fat content. Freezes well, reheats in microwave well.
This recipe is half ground beef and half TVP, which is a soy meat substitute you can find in any health food store or in the bulk section of the grocery. TVP has no flavor of its own, but a meat like texture. This recipe cuts fat content & calories significantly, without sacrificing taste.
