I found this on the Food Network from chef George Stella. It was fantastic and so low in carbs and fat, even when you use real cream cheese and Parmesan. He recommends adding 3 Tbsp butter, but I doubled the recipe and only added one and it was still delicious. You can garnish with fresh rosemary or chives too!
From a cookbook my husband gave me, I just changed the pasta to whole wheat and the milk to non-fat. Also the Francesco Rinaldi Alfredo sauce was the lowest calorie brand of alfredo sauce at my local grocery store.
Feel free to mix in other frozen fruits! Pineapple, mango etc. Be sure to keep the banana in the mix as this is what thickens it, in place of milk or yogurt.
My Husband loves meatloaf but I hate to make it because it's so high in calories and fat. I found this wonderful recipe in a wedding cookbook, and Turkey works great in it. Delicious and super moist! Long cooking time though, so good for a hearty Sunday night meal.
