This is okayu with brown rice (genmai) and azuki beans. It's a simple dish but it's a comfort food.

Gomazatou - Sesame Sugar Seasoning (serving = 1 t.)

Gomashio, or sesame seed salt, is a popular seasoning for rice dishes in Japan. In Naruto, Japan, gomazatou, or sesame seed sugar, is more popular. This is my personal take on the seasoning.

I messed around with a recipe for chocolate chocolate chip cookies, including what I had in the pantry--such things as chia seeds, applesauce, and a bit of soy flour. This was the result. I think it's very tasty, though not healthy in the least!
