This might be the easiest recipe EVER to make. It's warm, filling, very low fat, and has a little kick! I love it!
Super fresh and crunchy kale salad. Adjust other ingredients to your taste.
I made this recipe for a 1 cup serving, but obviously it's easy to make more!
This is a dish taken from the Weight Watchers Healthy Living Basics cookbook - and I added the dates. It's a fairly simple, hearty side dish.
Another derivation of the weight watchers 0 point veggie soup - I made it with whatever veggies I had leftover!
If you use reduced fat cheese instead of regular, you've got yourself a weight watchers recipe. I didn't have any, so here's my higher fat version.
It's still in the crockpot, but dannng it smells good. I combined a few different recipes to fit the ingredients I had. Very sweet!
This is my adaptation of the Hungry Girl Falafel - I had way too many garbanzo beans, didn't have any cooking spray, and didn't feel like measuring!!! ;) It still tastes good!
Colorful and wonderful vegetarian side dish. Brings out the sweet in the carrots.
I love my crockpot! I had frozen steak, raw barley, and a bunch of veggies left over from a party! Threw them all in the crockpot, and the next morning the whole house smelled like potroast!
This is the best quick meal ever! You get protein AND fruit, all in one dish! yum!
I love when I throw things in the crockpot and they actually taste good! That's where this one came from - protein rich, filling stew with very little calories!
Based on Weight Watchers recipe - but I used regular peanut butter instead of reduced fat, which would bring down the calories a lot!
I had a bunch of bananas that were going to go bad so I wanted to make something with them! They're a little thick, but taste soooo good.
Again, in the spirit of trying to use everything in my fridge before going shopping...here is what turned out to be a YUMMY breakfast scramble!
One of the fun parts of being broke is combining things I have in the cupboard because I don't want to go grocery shopping! This particular concoction turned out YUMMY! It's noodles, meat, sauce and veggies! Tastes great!
I am learning how to combine random ingredients in the cupboard to make a meal! Woohoo.
Being half Iranian, I grew up with a dish called "Fesenjoon" - it's usually made with ground up walnuts, pomegranate and chicken. This recipe is the Americanized version - using canned cranberry sauce instead of pomegranate to make it that much easier (and cheaper!) It's great over basmati rice - or you could leave the chicken out of the recipe to make a yummy vegetarian dish!
I made this soup throwing random things I had in the pantry and fridge into it! It's yummy!
Using a bread starter, this is the no-oil, no-sugar version of Amish Friendship Bread!
Hungry Recipe!!! Soooo yummy, perfect for fall and winter months. Makes the whole house smell good too.
From a recent Hungry Girl Email, this soup is deeelicious and only 2 points per serving!
Somewhere along the way I stopped following their recipe exactly, but it's still fantastic and yummy!
