New recipe I haven't worked out all of the stuff and have to input it before I taste test it. :-)
I am trying a new recipe and trying to make healthy changes to lower fat and calories. I may try low carb tortillas next time but this time I have small corn tortillas. We will see how they turn out.
I got this recipe from a friend and am trying it for the first time today. I will come back and post what we think!
This is a wonderful recipe collaboration between me and my husband. He was wanting some spaghetti squash and I wanted to make it a little different than we have in the past. Our usual method was to bake it soft and then mix it with garlic, chopped tomatoes, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and bake longer a baking dish. It is good but I wanted something more. This is what we came up with.
It was such a good dish my four year old ate it, and he has taken to being something of a "picky" eater these days.
Picture will be coming soon.
I got this recipe from online and just added more veggies, rice and low fat dairy. It is tangy and delicious!!
I got the basics of this recipe from the back of the Lite and Fit yogurt container. I make changes to the yogurt flavor and the frozen fruit all of the time to change it up but the basic recipe is still the same. I always use unsweetened frozen fruit. Sometimes I will add a banana to thicken it up also. Try your own variations and enjoy.
I trie dthe recipe with better ingredients to lower the saturated fat and calories and it tastes very good.
These are a holiday TREAT that we only make once a year. They are from one of my Mothers old Military Wives cookbooks.
This recipe was given to me by my Mother In Law. I do not know where she got it from but they are delicious.
I made this with left overs from dinner and it was very filling.
This is the first time I am making this dinner and I will make any changes needed to better the recipe.
I got a similar recipe from another SP member I just used slightly different ingredients to help lower the calories and increase the veggies.
I was wanting Breakfast for dinner and this is what I cam eup with. I served it with fresh strawberries, low fat sliced ham and some crispy hash browns.
I came up with this recipe because I wanted some more crunch and flavor to my tuna. If I have plain nonfat yogurt on hand I will substitute that for some or all of the mayo. The ingredients reflect the light mayo.
This will marinade many different meats, I usually use beef or chicken. This Marinade will be enough for two seperate dinners each about 1 lb of meat.
