I actually triple rinsed the kidney beans so the sodium content will be lower than stated. THis is good and easy-I brown the beef in the evening . Before work in the morning, I add the beef and the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot. Increase or decrease the chili powder to taste. When my friends who love things hot come over-we add red hot sauce also. Also good to take for lunches.
This is like pumpkin pie in a glass-without the fattening pie crust. Its filling and delicious.
