This is a healthy, under 100 calorie, low fat, low sugar way to get some whole grains in while feeling like you are having "dessert"! If you have any left over plain (non- seasoned) cooked brown rice this recipe is even simpler!
This is my version of this great snack using a melon baller to make small, bite size, cookie balls. You can have 3 for under 100 calories! They remind me of my favorite chocolate store candy-Haystacks, without all the calories and fat!
Want a peice of the tropics without all of the calories and fat? This pie is for you!
It's my second variation of this crustless yummy recipe (thanks to the Bisquick in the mix).
Try my Pina Colada one too! YUM!
With the eggwhites and carrots these burgers keep their moisture content. Ummmm juicy! Add 1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms to add more moisture and still low calories.
This is a no crust, low fat cheesecake. Since Bisquick is used in the filling, it's gives the pie a more solid texture so no crust is needed.
This has been a great recipe for me to play around with and be creative. Take out the pineapple & coconut, add some key lime juice and you have a Key Lime Cheesecake. Add some melted chocolate chips and some strong liquified instant coffee/espresso instead and you have a great Mocha Cheesecake.
Just use the first 5 basic ingredients and your imagination! Just make sure to have that little bit of extra liquid like the juice, coffee, milk, water etc. so it's not too thick or dry. Add your favorites and be creative....I did, and my family loves me for it! YUM!
This is an equal blend of light brown sugar and artifical sweetener. It's a lot cheaper than buying the already made name brand.
I am on the Fat Smash Diet Phase 1 and was craving some "bread" (which is not allowed) with my bean/veggie soups, so I created this! As long as it's a once in awhile thing I give it a thumbs up. This is a pan made "bread" that's simple to make & quick. It's not actually "bread" but for staying in the guildlines of the diet ingredients it's not bad! It can be baked for "pizza crust" too!
These pancakes are pretty good and are made with ingredients approved for the Fat Smash Phase 1 Diet & Up.
I made this to go with my Fat Smash Approved Oat Pancakes. It gives it a nice extra favor for little sacrifice. Because of all of the artificial ingredients in the sugar free syrup it may fall into question as to the FS Diet plan. You can eliminate it if you feel the need.
This cookie is a holiday tradition in our family. This recipe is not usually low in calories, fat or sugar. However, I have altered this recipe to be lower in all of those things, especially the sugar. This is a good sized cookie so one indulgence is enough! Enjoy!
These are soooo good, especially in the fall and winter. They are not however totally good for you despite being made with a good beta carotene source of veggie. They are neither low calorie nor low fat and need to willingly be a guilt free snack if consumed. You may certainly alter my recipe to try less oil, substitute applesauce possibly for oil, use less sugar or sugar substitute, more healthy with a whole grain wheat or oat flour etc.
This is a great healthy "salty" snack or tossed into salads for that crunch instead of croutons.
I created these to fit in with the Fat Smash Diet Phase 1 and up. They are very good but could be sweeter. For this purpose I left them as I made them, adjust to your taste.
This is a soup that tatstes good, is good for you, and filling. I used vegetables that I had in my refrigerater and you can use what you like.
This is a take on the Southbeach Diet Egg Cup recipe. It's better the day you make them, but they freeze well. The downside I found, was because of the water content of the spinach and/or other ingredients they were a little watery upon microwaving them. For future re-heating, they would be better wrapped in foil and put in the regular oven.
This is a "smarter" version of my previously published Sweet Potatoe Muffins. I've made substitutions for most of the "bad" ingredients and kept within the guildlines (per serving) that is approved for the Fat Smash Diet Phase 1 and up.
In this recipe, the flour has been replaced with fresh ground oat flour, which is a whole grain. The extra pumpkin and banana help to compensate for the large amount of oil in my original recipe. The brown sugar was reduced and substituted with Splenda to make what is close to the "Splenda Brown Sugar Blend". Eggs replaced with healthier liquid egg whites. Since the fat, calories, and sugars have been drastically reduced I have allowed 2 mini muffins to a serving. Hope you all enjoy this, I did! Tested and approved...by my family!
This recipe using Egg Beaters Egg Whites and 1 % milk cuts fat and cholesterol. Use fat free milk and cut it even more!
This is a twist on a Cuban/Mexican Black Bean and Rice and New Orleans Red Bean & Rice. Call it Jambalaya, call it Paella whatever you call it.....one thing for sure is it's GOOD! With the addition of low fat Jennie-O Italian Turkey Sausage and 2 types of beans, this is low fat, high protein, and filling. Make it more traditional whatever your tradition is by adding chicken, shrimp, more spice. Just don't forget to adjust the ingredients to get the correct counts!
This twist on a traditional "meat" sauce is delicious and nutritious.
This is sure to warm you up and cure what ever ails you. Made with low fat chicken breasts keep the fat & calories down.
