118 calories per cupcake sized muffin, simple to make, and SO SO tasty! SEROUSLY, you HAVE to try these, and kick those chocolate cravings GOOD BYE!
Pick your flavor of cake mix- any will work fine. I use the "pudding in the mix" kind.
Makes 1 serving, in less than 5 minutes. Surprisingly easy- Surprisingly tasty! (Tastes JUST like the real thing- pinky swear!)
Uses regular sugar and no sugar substitutes. This cake is a dense, moist cake that is almost like a coffee cake in texture with a lovely cinnamon swirl in the top and jam packed with lucious cinnamon apples. Just over 100 calories a serving.
These are pretty good! A pretty large portioned decadent dessert for under 200 calories, & only 1 gram of fat, with 9 grams of fiber and 16 grams of protein. The blueberry topping with fiber one sprinkles also works well on top of vanilla frozen yogurt, if you can add the sugar & calories to your plan.
I am IN LOVE with grilled cheese sandwiches- but not the high calorie and fat content. This isn't quite as good as the "real thing", but will definitely take care of the craving.
I'm REALLY trying the portion control on the sweets- Freeze these for days when you just can't resist chocolate. 2 bites= about 100 calories.
Like the one from your favorite mass chain restaurant- goes well with my knock off oriental chicken salad. 41 cal a serving.
Just like the one from your favorite chain restaurant, only healthier and not 9 bucks a pop! (the dressing is an EXACT copy!)
So good, and very versitile. Using skim milk makes it still OK for most diet plans. Great for eating with pasta, chicken, or as a base for cream and cheese sauces. Part of my Fabulously Frugal cookbook recipes designed to stretch a paper thin budget to the max.
A special treat to make in the winter when it is snowing! This is another one of the depression era recipes from my "Fabulously Frugal" cookbook. Low a cost and fun treat for times when cash is tight.
These are AMAZING!
Great iced tea with a kick for those warm summer days. Uses part splenda, and part sugar for sweetness. See the lower cal version for all splenda version.
salad with spinach for lunch... it is easier to make the recipe than to put all of this in the nutrition tracker every day.
serve these as a side dish with a nicve indian curry, or lentil dal for dinner, with a large salad for lunch, or leftover with fruit preserves for breakfast the day after making them. They are very simple, but very good.
Uses ALL splenda rather than part splends/part sugar for a lower cal cooler. Only 7 calories per 2 cup serving.
