I labelled this as vegetarian even though it contains beef base. Doesn't need it but helps deepen the flavour. Use "no salt added" canned goods if possible/available. Very flexible recipe... Add other vegetables, more/less lentils or TVP, ground beef, etc.
Great to throw in the purse for when you (or the kids) get hungry when out and about. Better the the real thing. Delicious! My 4 year old goes crazy for these!
