Low-Cal Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake

Protein shake made with PB2 (Bell Plantation) chocolate-flavour powdered peanut butter. I tasted the pnut butter and banana, but not really chocolate. Some cocoa nibs, or maybe carob powder, might fix this?

Banana must be frozen to give thicker milkshake consistency. Also try freezing the almond milk before mixing.

Egg White Protein Shake

Special nutritional shake to give a variety of proteins: soy, whey + egg white. Drink a whole portion within 30 min after a good workout, maybe drink half a portion abt 30-60 min before strenuous activity (heavy yardwork), sports or working out. I'm also drinking a slightly modified version right before bed, after a final 30-40 min night workout (strength/cardio mixture: kettlebells).

Raw food Mash "Potatoes" & Mushroom Gravy

Slightly altered Alissa Cohen recipe (Living on Live Food book)

Orange Juice Protein Shake

Tasty, filling protein booster. Really does taste like dreamsicle!

Raw Food Alfredo Sauce

Easy, tasty recipe for raw version of alfredo sauce. Pour over zucchine sliced thin that's been lightly marinated in olive oil, or over fresh, raw veggies - broccoli, etc. Buon appetito!

Ginger Spinach Soup (a la Karen Knowler)

Based on Karen Knowler ("the Raw Food Coach") Green Ginger Soup. About 1-2 servings. http://www.therawfoodcoach.com.

Breakfast Protein Shake, Carob

Another variation on Jackie Warner's great protein shake recipe she shared on now-defunct BRAVO TV show, "Workout". Hope Jackie & Sky Sport are doing well!

Protein shake, Jackie Warner-style (frozen fruit)

This is also a great RAW recipe! Breakfast protein shake based on Jackie Warner's recipe shared on BRAVO TV reality series "Workout". Based on whey (from cow's milk), this recipe is *not* vegan, but we find it very healthy & enjoy it. So far we haven't found any other protein with the same great taste & consistency. Look for whey protein that's *low carb* & *low glycemic*. Jackie's original recipe was for a full scoop (about 21 grams or about 5 teasps) of green powder - but the stuff tastes sooo strong, we reduced to 1 teaspoon, or just leave out (esp. if sharing with kids). Warning: We do not recommend more than 2 or 3 pieces of frozen berries like blackberries, raspberries, etc, or you'll have a mouthful of seeds. Enjoy!
