This is a very simple sandwich I eat in the mornings that fits with in the guidelines given by my trainer. High protien, high fiber, low fat. The bacon adds needed flavor.
This is a simple, healthy and delicious breakfast option given to me by my trainer. She also puts slivered almonds on it however I omitted that in this recipe.
I am into the 20 "Superfoods" therefore I wanted something that incorporated some of the foods on the superfood list and tastes great. This recipe is simple, healthy and satisfying. Everything I was looking for:) Goes well over rice and adding a little cheddar cheese gives it a kick.
Taken from the Superfoods HealthStyle book written by Steven G. Pratt and Kathy Matthews. Tasty, sugar content is a little higher then I would prefer otherwise this dish has some great nutritional qualities. Tastes like a crustless pumpking pie.
