These cutlets are wonderful for a diet! They're low calorie but super dense with nutrients! 99% of your daily need of B-6, and over 25% of B-12! Both very important in any diet, but especially Vegan! And high in protein, roughly 26 grams! Please enjoy and diet smart!
Since it's winter i figured it's soup - chili time! Today i whipped up a killer looking chili.. it's got all sorts of southwestern flavors and added a bunch of extra veggies! Most people associate just meat, beans and onion..then seasoning.. mmmmmaybe a bell pepper. Me? I like to put everything i can in it. think of it as a "garbage chili" if you will.. Browning seasoning gives this dish a "meaty" taste to it.
This delicious soup reminds me of a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup, minus the chicken! Has just as much comfort, and deliciousness that'll make grandma proud.
Sour cream is something I know a lot of vegans miss and don't want to buy the expensive stuff at the store. so this recipe is super cheap and easy. You can buy your tofu from anywhere. My favorite is Trader joes, $1.79 a block for my area, not bad not bad. Where the packaged vegan cream cheese is $4-6 a pack for 8 oz.. Yeah, no thanks!
This recipe is really good for adding to stroganoff dishes, plopped on a baked potato, or added to a cake recipe. Use like the real stuff!
Whats great too is lots of protein, no cholesterol, and 1/2 the calories of regular sour cream!! ~_^

Its my version of trader joes regular biscuits, i just use soy milk instead of regular milk :)
