We decided to go Paleo, but I just couldn't get rid of MY Toll House chippers!!
The original recipe was 4 servings (4 tops, 4 bottoms). I felt too high in calorie. We would rather have extra protein and veggies.
Quick, easy, AND delicious! My kids love to make them almost as much as eating them... ;-)
This soup recipe makes a huge pot of soup...but we eat a bowl whenever hungry and it curbs our appetites! Sounds like a lot but it goes fast. The best part is its so low in calories, you can have two bowls. Enjoy.
This was created for my sons. They found a low carb diet works best for them. Easy and fast.
We went blueberry picking and HAD to make pie!! This is easy, delicious, but NOT low in calories. I put this in my counter in the morning
so it allowed me to still keep the calories somewhat in tact. ;-)
Our family reunites, one and all, for a wonderful beach vacation once a year. We take turns cooking, cleaning, and doing the rest of the chores...BUT we don't count calories for that one week!! We swim in the pool, at the beach, and walk all over.
Easy to make because I mince ginger and garlic instead of making paste, and use store bought ghee.
As with any salad, there is room for creativity...just remember to add in the calories for any additions.
We like soup as meals so I make them 'loaded' with 'stuff''. The recipe is large because it freezes well and I can send containers home with my college boys. LOL/wink
Great, easy and oh so fast mini muffins for when you need a little something sweet but still want to be good!
Delicious but NOT low calorie. Every once in awhile I have to have a 'bad' treat! LOL
We can't eat raw onions or garlic, but if you can, add 1/2 red onion, chopped and 1 or 2 cloves minced garlic. DON"T forget to add on to calorie count if you add them. Quick and easy for picnics or side dish with fish or chicken.
These are crispy and delicious. Sometimes I add 1/2 cup of pecans or walnuts when I make them for the kids or company, but the calorie count goes up.
This is made with 1 TBS. of Annatto Seed (Anchiote) which was not in the tracker. Serve this with Mexican Vegetables and Pinto Beans.
There are suppose to be three bananas, but I only had one. Oh well. Quick easy recipe.
There is an egg in here so its not vegetarian technically. However, it's easy to slap together with fresh ingredients. It's even faster if you use frozen spinach and canned mushrooms.
I like to do the calorie count per one mushroom so you can decide how many you want personally. It's easier to calculate. These mushrooms are delicious so you may want to make sure you leave plenty of calories to pig out!!
These are little and great with a cup of tea, and oz. of cheese for a snack or late lunch. The most time consuming part of this recipe is cutting up the candied ginger.
We use this as a side dish, but it can be a main dish as well, just use larger portions.
This is a revised version from LUCYSMOM09 Pork chops with Jalapeno-Pecan Cornbread Stuffing. I left out the meat since chop weight varies and changed a few ingredients, but basic recipe is the same.
Great recipe. Any changes I made were based on what I had in my cupboard. Delicious!
The soup is loaded with vegetables. It's more like a stew. I cooked the pasta separately so you can have exactly what you want. (My Hubbie gets more calories than I do.)
Great base recipe submitted by ZANZIBARTART. We like our food spicy so I needed to recalculate the calorie count to suit our tastes.
Since I had to go with the leftovers, I needed to recalculate the calorie count.
**Also I replaced potatoes on the top with cauliflower pureed in the blender to help reduce the calories.
This recipe sounded great. I changed a few things to suit our spicy tastes. Excellent base recipe. Thanks.
I loved this recipe. I made SLIGHT revisions to make it heartier because we do soup as a meal with a whole grain bread of our choosing. It depends on what's in the house.
You add in the shrimp, or chicken or any sea food you want, but don't forget to count those calories too.
Exceptional pancakes with a grand number of variations...add fruit puree or chunks, nuts or seeds, or switch out so wheat flour for corn meal, barley or buckwheat flour.
Classic...what more can I say! Most of the time the soup is on the burner. You can do other things while it's cooking.
We love spicy foods and we love Indian foods. This easy to make dish will warm you right up.
This is a versatile bread. It can good with a meal, as a snack, or a light breakfast with fat free cream cheese.
We love having soup for lunch with a good piece of bread. We also like hot n spicy foods. This combines the two!.
Buckwheat is a little higher in calorie than other grains, but it is so tasty and filling too.
This recipe is good when you have a lot of things to do and DON'T want to do them.;) So play in the kitchen and don't feel guilty!
Easy vegetarian dish that can be converted for your carnivorous friends with a sausage or beef patty.
This big bucket doesn't last long. We have for breakfast, lunch, supper and snack too.
