A simple and tasty way to start the day...Great for a Sunday Morning :)
The spinach is the L in our BLT and the salsa is the T-and it's an egg scramble-not a sandwich-means low carb :)
A little higher in calorie than a normal fruit, but nice for an extra treat or part of a holiday dinner.
Oh yea, you can have your steak fried and gravy on top :) Serve with green beans and your favorite side dish to round off the meal.
You won't believe it's healthier for you!! If you are like me, I like a lot of dip with my raw vegetables, but because of fat content, it's really defeating the purpose. Well now you can have the dip without the fat and non essential calories (remember, you get half a dairy here).
Quick easy and cheap. This can also be frozen for quick lunches for other days.
Made in cupcake pans makes it easier to serve, and faster to reheat when frozen. Perfect for freezer cooking.
This is a wonderful meal if you have the calories for it. Served with an extra side of veggies makes it filling and complete.
This is like a strawberry shortcake...all mixed up...lol. It's been affectionately called the bomb because when my sister in law made it for the first time, my niece, with all the family in attendance, said "Mom, this is the bomb" and thus...the name was born and has stuck.
A perfect summer dessert. You could lose a few more calories by adding skim milk, but we never have that on hand.
This is one of my kids favorite meals-and very filling and slightly high in calories. This is a once in a great while dinner treat. Served with a salad, it's a complete meal.
A super easy dinner full of veggies and low on calories, that fills you up.
Great for a hot summer day or those mornings you just don't have time to sit down and eat.
This is great served over a hamburger or steak, or even rice or just served as a side dish.
If you, like me, are severely allergic to nuts of any kind, but still crave a peanut butter and jelly sandwich now and then...then come along and have one with me...just as tasty-with less fat, and no allergic reaction...well...unless you are also allergic to soy..then...you might not want to try this.
This delicious, light and filling fruit salad is a wonderful dish for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even a snack.
This is a special and easy treat for those times when you just have to have it.

| playfullkitty's little nook I use to think that I didn't have the time or money to eat healthy, nor was it very good. But each day i learn that it can be easier than a fast food drive thru, and a whole lot cheaper, and with you know what, it don't have to taste like diet food to be healthy for you. |
