aata sooji halwa

*Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup
Semolina, enriched, 0.25 cup
Brown Sugar, 8 tsp unpacked
*Ghee (clarified butter), 1.5 tsp
Cardamom, ground, 0.5 tsp

Yogurt Okra or Dahi Bhindi

Great as a main dish with Bread or tortilla or Roti/ chappati

yogurt dip

Great salad dressing or dip. can be eaten with anything

paneer sandwhich

grate cottage cheese and add # Onions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped
# Paprika, 1 tsp
# *Coriander leaf, dried, 1 tsp
# Salt, 3 dash
# Pepper, black, 1 dash
Mix the above ingredients.
butter the bread and put a layer of the above mixture. Grill well for 5 minutes. serve hot.

Garlic Mushrooms in white sauce

This is a quick recipe and the creamy texture and taste makes it a hit with all ages. You can substitute the mushrooms (In case you do not like mushrooms) with Tofu, Cottage cheese, Chicken or Fish.
