Modified from The Omni Diet by Tana Amen, RN: this is the "Beautiful Brain" Cucumber Mint Salad.
Had a lot of cucumbers to use up, so I threw together this salad. You can omit the chicken for a vegetarian dish.
Tasty way to get Omega-3's. From Women's Running Magazine, March/April 2012 p. 59.
This is based on the chocolate truffle recipe in Cynthia Sass' Cinch! Diet book. I doubled the quantity and replaced her almond butter with peanut butter, and I didn't quite get the 10 truffles out of the batch that I was supposed to. Easy to make and tasty. Must be refrigerated though.
Used up post holiday leftovers with this soup: made my own broth from turkey bones, celery from the veggie tray, onions, peppercorns, lemongrass, ginger and star anise.

Improvised this recipe from a pizza dough I make regularly and inspiration from Chicago Fire Pizza in Sacramento. I make the pizza dough in a food processor, so the preparation time reflects that--it may take longer if you mix by hand.
This is a combination of two of my favorite banana cake recipes. The banana liqueur adds a great punch of banana flavor.
This is a great pantry staple, easy to pull together and very flavorful
