This is delicious and got rave reviews from everyone! I bought the squash already cubed to save time and agony.
I adapted this recipe from a kosher food recipe on about.com. I made my own croutons out of two leftover hot dog rolls ("crouton" means "crust") and used sirachi sauce instead of tabasco sauce. These can be prepared up to step 6 a week in advance and frozen - don't need to defrost but bake 20 minutes longer.
This is another recipe for roasted veggies (use any that you have and like) but with the addition of apples and bananas. The bananas add a wonderful flavor to the veggies.
Needs two hours or more to marinate.
This is delicious with a lot of different tastes and textures. Add grated carrots and snow peas, etc if desired
These potatoes are wonderful and have no milk or butter. You can add garlic if you want during the last minute of cooking the onions. This is the only way I am going to make mashed potatoes from now on!
