Using the last of the summer veggies from our garden and a bunch of yummy things from farmer's market, we made this salad of the day!
A raw food staple in our house. Our Basic Kale Sald...best with dino kale! Sometimes we doctor it up with sesame oil, almonds, green onion and shredded carrots, but this is the plain and simple recipe. Use organic ingredients if you can, but local and fresh has awesome benefits as well!
This is the usual master cleanse recipe with lemon, but I've added a jalapeno pepper to help clean out the intestines in a hurry! Use organic if you can and try to buy from local farmers. (That's easy for me to say, I live in California!) Try the cleanse because it fills you up and melts pounds pretty quickly.)
My kids made this smoothie this morning in place of pancakes and syrup at granny's! Satisfied the sugar/starch cravings, tasted yummy and gave us energy to go outside and play! The added bonus is that it was all raw! :)!
