I was craving mashed cauliflower, but my post-Thanksgiving gut couldn't handle anything rich. I threw this together and didn't miss the butter!
I threw this vegan dish together when I was craving comfort food the day after Thanksgiving (and thus couldn't handle anything truly rich). I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and well rounded it turned out. I forgot the salt, and I didn't even miss it! I ate it with some mashed cauliflower. Yum!
I just threw this together with some leftovers, and I was thrilled with its tastiness! I used leftover slow cooker chicken, but rotisserie would be very yummy, or even grilled.
This slow-cooker recipe requires no forethought, almost no work and a big apetite. It's yummy! (Note about nutritional info: sodium and sugar content vary greatly among barbeque sauces.)
This recipe is perfect for a small to medium crockpot. You can multiply it for a larger crockpot.
These are more like barbeque hot dogs than sweet & sour, but they taste good no matter what you call them!
These are more like fudge than cookies, which is fine by me!
I had a craving and an urge to be creative. Need I say more? This recipe can be multiplied or divided very easily.
This side dish is a great replacement for store-bought stuffing. It cooks up quicker and is a lot healthier. This recipe is also wheat free and vegan, but you could add parmesan cheese if you desired.
This is my favorite way to eat Brussels sprouts because it's tasty and it reminds me of a surprise anniversary trip to Seattle my husband planned (when I tried hot roasted chestnuts for the first time).
This pressure cooker recipe could be made on the stove, or adapted for the slow cooker. The recipe is also easy to modify or multiply!
This vegan dip is the perfect match for my avocado cravings but a touch lighter
This is a modification of hummus that makes it a little creamier.
I didn't think this would have a lot of flavor when I made it, but I was pleasantly surprised! Boy, was it filling!
Side this with a salad and you have a low-calorie, super-filling meal.
This recipe is great for any meal! It's a big hit for potlucks (not to mention really easy!).
This family recipe is NOT low cal, but it's super yummy! I eat it instead of dessert!
